Nadis is committed to its responsibility to the environment, in saving the limited water resources for the customers and communities we serve, for the present and future generations because with water, there is hope for the future. Our R&D has our full support and resources at its disposal to experiment, research and investigate better formulations of chemical compounds that supplement our efforts in aiding industries to save water.

Optimizing Water for Industrial Consumption

Our water treatment is designed to treat water effectively for industrial purposes so it can be used for a longer duration. We help to reduce water usage across several major industries–power, petroleum, paper, textiles and so on–which is what we are committed to doing through and through.

We help industries in conserving the water used in their particular applications by optimizing its quality with our range of chemicals in order to scale down water usage considerably. Our focus is on conserving the water used for processing so it can be utilized elsewhere in the industry. We are far from reaching our goals but we are taking one step at a time to get there–maximum water conservation.

Making Safer and Greener Chemical Treatments

We have made significant progress in cutting down a number of harmful substances from our list of raw materials and replaced them with greener substitutes. Nadis was one of the first companies to eradicate chromate from its production of chemical compounds after the studies carried out by human epidemiological research concluded it as a potent carcinogen.

We have discontinued the use of a number of harmful agents in our chemical formulations– despite giving successful and cost-effective results in industrial operations because the evidence suggests, in the long-term, they accumulate in the tissues of animals and plants disrupting the entire eco-systems–to do our duty in preserving life.

The harsh water reality has led us and the industries, on the whole, to create sustainable water solutions by implementing the three R’s­–Reduce, Reuse, Recycle–across industries.

Our engineering department works with your team to mitigate the wastage of water throughput by reusing the process water for secondary uses by dosing it with chemical formulations so it is safe to use for certain purposes; for e.g., washing and scrubbing the industrial equipment; pallets and crates, and facilities, as fire hydrant source for industrial fires, for use in sanitation– flushing purposes; dust suppression, etc.

Our chemical solutions are not limited to just treating wastewater but effectively help in reusing and recycling industrial cooling water, greywater, and more by removing suspended solids, metal hydroxides, and other solid particles while also helping in disintegrating emulsified oils and emulsions.

Helping in Conservation of Energy Sources

Industries use fuel energy to generate steam using water, but a substantial amount of thermal energy is wasted as water is lost in evaporation and needs to be continuously replaced, requiring an additional amount of heat energy to continue the steam cycle. Moreover, the heated water reacts with the surface of the steam turbines forming scales which exacerbates the situation; requiring more heat energy for the same output.

Our chemical treatments inhibit scale formation, enabling the conversion of water into steam efficiently, and minimizing loss of thermal energy which reduces the fuel intake. Thus, we indirectly help in lowering greenhouse emissions besides conserving fuel energy resources and making a positive, long-lasting impact on the environment.

We have set new milestones for ourselves, which we will achieve by ameliorating greener chemical solutions within the next five years helping create sustainable water treatments with close to zero impact on the environment. Together with our partners, we are working in unison to make a safer world, eliminating the risks to human health, the environment, and the eco-systems.

These enhanced innocuous chemical treatments will benefit us and our customers, suppliers, shareholders and the world at large because of their cost-effectiveness, productivity but most importantly because of their non-toxicity to the environment.
